2004 Island Spirit 400
Custom built to meet my wife’s dream kitchen; the Katie Kat was launched on my Daughter’s birthday and delivered June of 2004. The queen of the entire fleet this elegant boat is the most advanced and tricked out Island Spirit ever built. Twin 40 horsepower diesels tame any current or allow you to beat storms. 50% more than the next closest power plant.
Stylishly she prowls the harbor or blue water. All heads turn as this comfortable beauty passes. She looks fast just sitting still.
Homeport behind our Cape Coral Home the Katie Kat has been meticulously maintained under my Watchful eye. I have over 1,900 Cost Guard days at sea and my Captain’s license.
No only does she look good, she is tough and has seen us through rough seas and long passages. Big enough to hold 8 people for weeks, she offers privacy to get away from each other.
The best communication equipment allows you to be in contact with friends and family no matter where you are in the world. Constant communication is available including fax, email, or voice.
Generator, solar power, full sails, huge holding capacity, great galley, showers, navigation and electronics all make this boat a world class cruiser. Capable for a great day sail or around the world for your dream trip, the Katie Kat has it all.
Katie Kat is not your traditional production charterboat, she is a semi custom yacht designed by someone that lived aboard the boat with his family. She is designed for comfort and full time living. What is missing from Katie Kat is all the "what the heck were they thinking" features found on most catamarans. The Island Spirits owners are all very close and share knowledge and our adventures, as a result Katie Kat comes with a huge experience base.
More photos: These photos are the traditional Yachtworld Shots, we wanted people to
see how the boat is used and how much space Katie Kat has.
